A relaxing weekend...

This is my first post and last weekend as a non-dad. My wife and I are expecting twins next Tuesday around noon (yes, its scheduled due to breach babies). We could have done it on Friday, Jan 25th but my wife wanted to enjoy our last weekend as non-parents.

This morning was typical except her parents are here. They're pretty easy going so its no big deal, plus they make breakfast. Breakfast was filled with wonderful chat while we finished off our cereal and tried to figure out what kind of bird was hanging out on the birdfeeder. Afterwards, I put up another shelf in the babies' room after an hour long debate on where it should go. Noon came up fast and we ended up heading to a matinée at 1pm with the in-laws: Nick Cage's new movie "National Treasure II". The movie was okay, but I think the new internet thriller "untraceable" would have been better.

It was snowing when we got home so the rest of the afternoon was spent doodling on the computer and hanging out. After dinner we watched "Curious George". I have no idea why, we just did and frankly it was pretty a interesting storyline so you should watch it too.
